General: All armor is made from resilient 1/8" to 1/4" thick High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic with a smooth finish.  This exceeds SCA standards for rigid material, as well as being approximately 1/2 to1/3rd the weight of 16 ga steel.  All armor comes fully strapped and is custom fitted .
